Over a dozen angry fans walked out or were kicked out of comedian Wanda Sykes' show in New Jersey for heckling her after she opened her set with a string of jokes about President Donald Trump.
Sykes kicked off the show at the Count Basie Center for the Arts on Thursday in Red Bank by making fun of how the public appears to be aging more quickly from stress caused by the Trump administration.
The Asbury Park Press reported that about a dozen attendees walked out of the auditorium, some of them having been forcibly removed for heckling the liberal comedian, 54.
'Do some comedy!' one attendee is said to have shouted at the Sykes, while another reportedly yelled: 'Too political!'

Many of those who exited in protest were seen arguing with staff members in the lobby afterward.
'I paid for a comedy show, not for a political venue,' Christine Delancey of Old Bridge told the Asbury Park Press.

'First of all, you don't bash our president. I am not a Trump supporter, but he is my president, and I would never bash my president.'
Audience members who stuck around for the rest of the show have said it was enjoyable overall, and that attendees should have expected jokes at the president's expense.
'You knew what you were gonna get. You should have known that it wasn't going to be pro-Trump,' Gabby Young of Brick said.
Sykes posted about the appearance on Instagram, writing: Thank you #CountBasieTheatre! I love my fans. And a special thanks to those who participated in the VIP meet n greet. The proceeds will be going to #FulfillFoodBank @fulfill_nj.
'As for the Trump supporters who walked out...too bad, you missed a lot of great dick jokes! #idontplay #blacklesbian.'
Theater staff declined to comment.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
