«Breaking News» Argentina coach reveals how he found an inconsolable Lionel Messi after 2016 Copa America final

It is fair to say that Lionel Messi hasn't had the best of luck on the international stage. 

While the Argentine talisman has won all there is to win at club level with Barcelona, the 31-year-old has had his fair share of heartbreak while representing his country in the past.

Messi led Argentina to a World Cup final only to be beaten by Germany at the last hurdle while he had to endure seeing Chile overcome his countrymen in back-to-back Copa America finals.

Argentina lost the first final in Santiago before they were beaten in the United States on penalties, with Messi even missing his own spot-kick in the shootout.

Now it has emerged that Elvio Paolorosso, fitness coach to Gerardo Martino, has witnessed firsthand how devastated the forward was after that defeat in the US.  

'The dressing room after the Copa America was very painful, but the worst was to come,' he said, speaking to Argentine radio.

'At two in the morning, more or less, I went to the store room and found Leo [Messi] completely alone, crying like a kid who lost his mother.

'He was distraught and nobody could console him. I gave him a hug and we had a little whine together.

'I had Messi in Barcelona and Argentina and all I have for him are words of gratitude. He always cooperated well and even noticed if the pitch was hard or soft.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
