«Breaking News» Anthony Bourdain wins two posthumous Emmy Awards for Parts Unknown

Anthony Bourdain won two posthumous Emmy Awards for his hit travel and food series 'Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown' on Sunday night.

The late American chef and travel documentarian was recognized for Outstanding Writing for a Nonfiction Program and Outstanding Informational Series or Special.

Bourdain's last Emmy Award was in 2016 - when he won for Outstanding Informational Series or Special. He also won the same award in 2015, 2014 and 2013.

A colleague who accepted the Emmy on his behalf said: 'For me and for all the folks that have worked for him in the last 20 years, I want to say his writing was always fiercely intelligent, real, no bullsh*t.

'His writing was inimitable... he's truly on a journey to parts unknown. We wish we could have shot that journey with him.'

Bourdain committed suicide by hanging Jun 8 while staying at the Le Chambard hotel in Kaysersberg in France.

He has been filming an upcoming episode for the CNN series at the time of his death.

The beloved food and travel show first aired in April 2013.

Parts Unknown will return to CNN for a final series late this fall and will include one episode narrated by the star.

It will comprise of seven episodes; five in which Bourdain appears and two in which he does not.

A CNN spokesperson told DailyMail.com last month: 'We can confirm that there will be a new, seven-episode season of Parts Unknown premiering in fall 2018 (date TBA), which includes one episode with Bourdain's narration – Kenya with W. Kamau Bell (title TBA).

'It will be similar in format to previous Parts Unknown episodes. '

The final two will show first how the producers made the series in the wake of his death and the final episode will reflect on how he impacted the world.

Before he died, he narrated an episode that had been filmed in Kenya with TV host W. Kamau Bell in March.

He also filmed in Manhattan, Mexico, Bali, Texas and Spain but did not have a chance to add his signature voice over to those scenes before he died.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
