American Horror Story: Apocalypse star Leslie Grossman has urged fans to be 'patient' for the long-awaited crossover between Murder House and Coven. 

The actress, 46, addressed the disappointment aired by viewers after the first episode returned to screens on Wednesday, marking the latest in the Ryan Murphy anthology series. 

Speaking in an interview with TV Guide on Thursday, Grossman said: 'I know that people were like, "What is this? I was told it was going to be a Coven and Murder House crossover!"

'You have to be patient with Ryan's vision of what this is going to be. And I can promise you that the dots are going to connect and it's going to be really satisfying.'

Explaining that it's a 'new take on the story' with a 'satisfying payoff' she added: 'I would hope that they could just let the story unfold and see the journey that we're being taken on.'

Despite the excitement for the 10-part series in the run-up to its release, The Wrap revealed the show had it's lowest rated premiere yet with just 3.08 million viewers tuning in, compared to Murder House's 3.18m in 2011 and Asylum's 3.85m in 2012.

The episode titled The End opened in the near future in Beverly Hills in 2019 with celebrity Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt [Leslie] swigging green juice while she got her hair quaffed by her beautician Mr. Gallant [Evan Peters].

An alert popped up on her phone warning of an international 'Ballistic Missile Threat' inbound to Los Angeles, and then her father called from Hong Kong, telling her to get into a car he'd provided that would take her to a safe place immediately.

Joan Collins also made her debut as the grandma of Evan Peters' character, named 'Nanna' Evie Gallant, and the episode saw her become a cannibal while staying in Outpost 3 to try and survive the nuclear war.

While the crossover has yet to happen it was hinted at, as the son of Murder House characters' BDSM 'Rubber Man' Tate Langdon (played by Peters) and Vivien Harmon (Connie Britton) made an appearance as an adult.

Born of human (Vivien) and spirit (Tate), Michael Langdon (Cody Fern) is said to be 'the antichrist' and was last seen in the first series as a child, but made an ominous arrival in Apocalypse when he took people from Outpost 3 to 'a sanctuary'.

Medium Billie Dean Howard [Sarah Paulson] had warned in Murder House that 'a child born of human and spirit will usher in the end of times', so his character is likely to play an important role in the story to come.

Hint: While the crossover is still pending, the son of Murder House characters' Tate Langdon and Vivien Harmon made an appearance as an adult (pictured as a baby in season one)

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
