«Breaking News» Joanne Beckham's ex Kris Donnelly discusses 'year of fighting' to see Peggy

He claimed that he hasn't been able to see his daughter Peggy for the last five months of her life. 

And Joanne Beckham's ex boyfriend Kris Donnelly has posted a second impassioned post on Instragram to mark her first birthday. 

Sharing a picture of himself tenderly holding the tot in his arms, the former Big Brother housemate wrote that he had spent 'a year fighting'.

He wrote: 'Happy Birthday monkey chops.

'One year of being a daddy, not the year i would have hoped or expected it to be, but never the less, a year of knowing the love a father has for a daughter.

'A year ive learnt more about myself than ever before, a year of fighting for what i know is right and believe in, and a year which I will be the proudest of when i look back on. 

Not all birthdays will be this way x x x love you Pegs x x x.'

The post comes after David Beckham shared a sweet tribute to his 'gorgeous' baby niece Peggy to celebrate her special day. 

The retired footballer, 43, took to his Instagram page on Saturday to post an adorable snap of him cradling the little one, the daughter of David's sister Joanne, in his arms.   

Alongside the shot, the sportsman wrote to his 52.5 million followers: 'Happy 1st Birthday to this gorgeous little one… Cannot believe Peggy is 1 already…

'Hope she has the most amazing day and Jo don’t give her to much cake she is still a little young. Sorry I can’t be there @joannebeckham (sic).'

In the adorable snap, David cradled Peggy carefully as he looked down lovingly at her while she slept soundly in his arms. 

The former professional footballer seemed to also be in the festive mood, as he wore a red Santa hat while Christmas decorations could be seen in the background. 

David's post came after Joanne's ex Kris first hit out at his former partner, as he lamented not being able to see their daughter in five months.

He shared a picture of uncle David holding the cute tot in his arms, and used hashtags saying 'shame on you', 'I won't give up' and 'you don't scare me'.

Also using the tag Fathers for Justice, an equal parenting rights campaign group, he wrote: 'Who do you think you are? 

'I wait 5 months to finally be reunited with my daughter on her birthday weekend only to be told to wait another week due to “family arrangements” #shameonyou #fathers4justice #iwontgiveup #youdontscareme'.

Kris, who previously had a close bond with the soccer hero and ex England captain, confirmed in October that he and the star’s sister had separated at the start of April.

News of the couple’s split is understood to have upset David, who is a good pal of the 2009 Big Brother star and even gave him clothes from one of his collaborations.  

The professional footballer is a doting father to four children - Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, and Harper, seven, with his wife of almost 20 years, Victoria.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
