Millennial couples are shunning big day traditions such as a wild hen and stag nights before the big day and a sit-down wedding breakfast in favour of a more modern approach.
The top wedding trends of 2018 have been revealed in research conducted by Pinterest on its most popular searches, and there's been a notable decrease in over-the-top cakes and well as boozy parties.
And a growing number of brides are choosing to cover up in long-sleeved gowns, jumpsuits and flat shoes, with some grooms even opting for tweed suits.
Elsewhere natural make-up, vegan food and three new types of engagement rings are dominating trends. Bands with moissanite gems - a natural diamond substitute - are up 300 per cent, and art deco rings and oval stones are on the rise.
Meanwhile relaxed food platters with 'wholesome' delicacies have replaced a traditional three-course wedding breakfast.
And spa retreats have been knocking Vegas hen dos firmly off the to-do list among wellness-conscious millennials.

Pizzas and decorative desserts
With weddings being all about love and indulgence, Pinterest found that fancy plated dinners were out, and pizza was up 120% along with pretty desserts, in their top wedding trends for 2018
Long sleeved bridal gowns
Among their top 2018 wedding trend searches, Pinterest found that comfort was key. For a little extra coverage, women sought out high necklines (searches up 351%), jumpsuits , sleeves (searches up 75%) and flats for their special day
Natural Altars
Pinterest have shared their report on the top wedding trends searched for on the picture site in 2018. This year it's been all about 'alternative altars' and letting nature serve as the backdrop with stunning locations like Santorini (seen) up an incredible 259%
Bold colours and shapes
Bold colours and geometric shapes, along with 3D invitations were up 188%, and the picture sharing site reported a 145% rise in edgy place settings among their top 2018 wedding trend searches
Floral drinks
Among their 2018 wedding trends Pinterest reported a drop in overpowering wedding cakes, with elegant and relaxed fig cakes up 575%, metallic decorations up 476% and floral cocktails and ice cubes on the rise
Wedding wind-down parties
Meanwhile wild stag dos were on the decline with Pinterest reporting alternative spa weekends were up 187% along with chilled post-wedding wind down parties, in their 2018 survey on wedding trends
Subtle flower arrangements
Flower Power! While flower walls and extravagant arrangements were on the decline, Pinterest reported a massive 782% increase in potted plants, suspended flowers, floral cocktails, single-stem proteas and minimal arrangements in its 2018 wedding trends
Alternative entertainment
Meanwhile among the quirkier finds, the picture sharing site reported that camping weddings were up 95% along with wedding games, a Jenga guest book and even tarot card reading for alternative guest entertainment
DIY touches
Along with the casual theme, the picture sharing site found that unconventional materials like acrylic signs, cement accents, DIY confetti and home made bouquets were on the up for the walk down the aisle

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
