«Breaking News» Kirstie Alley hits back at rumours best friend John Travolta is gay

Kirstie Alley has slammed long-standing rumours that her close friend and Look Who's Talking co-star John Travolta is gay.

The actress, who stared on UK reality show Celebrity Big Brother last month, has insisted she knows the actor well enough to know his sexuality, particularly as they were on the verge of an affair during filming for their hit 1989 movie.

Speaking to The Sun, Kirstie, 67, insisted when asked if she thinks her best friend is gay: 'No I don't. I mean, I know him pretty well — and I know the love...'

Kirstie previously spoke out on her and John's close relationship during her time in the CBB house, telling her housemates they almost had an affair on the set of Look Who's Talking and its sequel, but she was determined to stay loyal to her then-husband Parker Stevenson.

'He was potential marriage material. I almost ran off and married John,' she gushed of her fellow Scientologist.

'I did love him and still love him,' she reflected. 'And if I hadn’t been married I would have gone and married him. And I would have been in an airplane!'

Kirstie referred to the fact that the American Crime Story actor notoriously owns a private jet.

Speaking to The Sun, she elaborated: 'John would agree it was mutual that we sort of fell in love with each other.

'I will say it's one of the hardest things I've ever done, the hardest decision I've ever made because I was madly in love with him — we were fun and funny together.

'It wasn't a sexual relationship because I'm not going to cheat on my husband. But you know I think there are things that are way worse than sexual relationships, than cheating on someone that way. '

Kirstie explained she even persuaded John's now wife Kelly Preston to make their relationship more serious after Kirstie made the decision to stay married herself. 

But when they started shooting Look Who's Talking Too, at which point John and Kelly were married, Kirstie was accused of flirting with John by his wife, which she said forced her to make a decision once and for all.

The actress, who divorced her second husband Stevenson in 1997,  is now best friends with both John and Kelly, thanks in part to their mutual beliefs in Scientology.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
